HALE COMMON LAKE
Hale Manor Lakes consists of two waters situated east of Arreton on Hale Common,
On the main Newport-Sandown Road on the Isle of Wight PO30 3AR .
Hale Manor Lakes contain a good head of carp, perch, chub, roach and rudd.
Day ticket permits available on site for one lake and the other is a syndicate water.
Season tickets available.
Plenty of parking.
Best baits Pellets,Boilies,luncheon meat sweetcorn and maggots.

Thorncross Lake Coarse Fishery
Thorncross Lake Coarse Fishery is a day ticket water at Thorncross a small peaceful hamlet near Brighstone, on the beautiful South West side of the Isle of Wight.Brighstone, Isle of Wight PO30 4PN TEL 01983 740291
Thorncross Lake is a challenging water that is best suited to the more experienced angler. It has a surface area of 2.5 acres with a maximum depth of 4.5 metres
Open seasonally April to November from dawn until dusk. The lake is currently stocked with carp (to 23lbs) rudd and roach.
There is portaloo on site to serve basic toilet facilities.
Day tickets costing £10 per angler per day can be purchased on the bankside.
Merstone Fishery is located by driving through the village of Merstone, turning into Bury Lane then right into East Lane towards Budbridge Manor – the fishery is three quarters of a mile down the lane. Situated off the A3056, East Lane is after the turning to Merstone Village. The entrance is next to Little Budbridge Farm.
Kingfisher contains a good head of carp from 1lb to 15lb (mostly in the 2lb – 4lb range) plus plenty of skimmers with the odd mature bream to 7lb, tench to 6lb and roach, rudd and chub to 2lb. There are also some very large perch which have been taken to over 4lb and a few surprises such as Big eels and crucian carp.
Kingfisher & Minnow lakes are day ticket waters with heron being menmbers only.

These lake are ideal for beginers,children or if you fancy a day bagging up.Very well stocked lakes.
If you enjoy fishing then you should take advantage of our three lakes that are located a 150 yard stroll down the lane, which is also accessible by car. These man made but now wholly naturalised lakes cover an area of one and a half acres and are well-stocked with carp, roach and tench of various sizes. The largest recorded fish caught from these lakes to date was a 20lb carp caught by a 12 year old boy.
Yearly, double figures are caught. As well as being a peaceful place to pass the time and admire the beautiful scenery the lakes offer something to anglers of all abilities; good sport for the experienced angler and simply a chance to catch fish for the novice.
Guests staying at Nettlecombe Farm can fish free of charge, and the lakes are also open to the public for a daily 'per rod' charge of £5.00.
There is ample car parking next to the lakes and toilet facilities are also available nearby. The lakes are open from dawn to dusk all year round.
This is a still water, sheltered pond
Carp, Roach, Rudd, Dace, Bream and Perch. Carp have been seen up to 15lb, Perch have been described as largest on the island

Day ticket is dawn till dusk night fishing and camping is available but must be pre booked season ticket runs 12 months from day of purchase
